Norma Carby is an Author, Keynote Speaker, and Business Consultant. As the founder of Normaknowz LLC and a Licensed Government Contractor at both the state and federal levels, Norma is a driving force dedicated to empowering organizations and leadership teams to achieve their full potential through visionary purpose, strategic sales mastery, and unshakeable integrity.
Norma brings over 26 years of experience as a high-performance strategist and Empowerment Speaker. Her academic background provides a rigorous psychological and administrative foundation for her consulting practice; she holds a BA in Psychology from Manhattanville College and an AAS in Human Services. To further her mastery of organizational dynamics, she earned professional certifications in Executive Leadership and High Performance Leadership from Cornell University, alongside eight specialized certifications from Udemy Higher Learning Education.
Norma’s leadership journey began in the United Kingdom, where she broke significant barriers in the security industry. As the first Black female Regional Director in a male-dominated field, she was a pioneering force in the movement that led to the mandatory certification and professional training of security personnel across England. This foundational experience in driving industry-wide reform and regulatory standards defines her strategic approach to organizational consulting and high-stakes sales strategy today.
